UGAISOA held the World AIS Day Celebrations on 15th May 2026 at Country Lake Resort Garuga under the theme:
“Honoring the Legacy and Advancing the Future: Celebrating decades of AIM Excellence in Uganda” One of the key highlights of the day was a panel discussion themed: “Where we have been, Where we are today, Where we are heading as a profession.”
The discussion brought together experienced AIM professionals to reflect on the evolution of Aeronautical Information Management in Uganda, the milestones achieved over the years, the challenges encountered, and the opportunities that lie ahead as the profession continues to transform in the digital era.
It was a valuable opportunity for all to hear firsthand experiences, exchange ideas, ask questions, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of our profession.
